Some stormy weather before the weekend

After breezy, warmer weather with filtered sunshine on Tuesday, the next step is a cold front whose effects will be out of the way by the weekend. Expect a mix of clouds and sunshine on Wednesday, with highs in the 70s (and a few 80s) and a 20% chance for showers and thunder. Thursday, the clouds and wind will increase, with some gusts over 50 mph, and showers and thunder becoming likely for most of us. The storm will continue Thursday night into Friday morning, then the winds will calm, the skies will clear and highs will be near average (60s). Saturday and Sunday, look for sunshine, afternoon breezes, low humidities and highs in the 70s and 80s.
