TONIGHT: Cooling temps and skies clearing as the mercury falls. Lows tonight will be in the upper 50's in the Springs and Pueblo and upper 40's in the high country.
TUESDAY: Warmer temps tomorrow and slightly drier skies expected. We won't have as much moisture in the air and only minor disturbances expected to move through the area. Temps tomorrow will reach 86 in the Springs (nine degrees warmer than today) and 92 in Pueblo. Chances of storms after 3 pm tomorrow will be about 20-30% in around Teller County/The Rampart Range & the Wet & Sangre de Cristo Mountains. 20% chance in the Springs...much lower chances in Pueblo and the eastern plains at about 10-20%.
WEDNESDAY: Toastiest day of the next seven expected. Highs of 89 in the Springs and 96 in Pueblo. There is a cool front on the way so it will also be breezy during the afternoon and evening. Chances of storms about 20-30% in Teller County and over the mountains. Colorado Springs will see about a 10-20% chance late in the day. 10-20% chance again for Pueblo and areas east.
THURSDAY: MUCH cooler temps expected thanks to that cool front. It will be breezy...especially early in the day. High temps should be at least 15-18 degrees cooler compared to Wednesday. We'll also expect a better chance of storms close to the mountains at the higher elevations. 30-40% chance over the mountains...20% chance in Colorado Springs....still only a 10-20% chance in Pueblo.
FRIDAY: Enjoy another day of mild temps. Highs will only hit 75 in the Springs and 80 in Pueblo. If we see a few storms they will be much more likely over the mountains than the lower elevations.
SATURDAY-MONDAY: Warmer and mostly dry. Temps come up a few degrees each day and chances for storms stay fairly low on Saturday....no storms at the lower elevations or the mountains Sunday and Monday.
Have a great rest of the week!
