Some Colorado democrats unhappy with president's visit

President Barack Obama will be in Denver to show his support for incumbent Democratic Sen. Michael Bennet.

Obama's move to support the incumbent has frustrated primary challenger Andrew Romanoff and other Democrats, who say Obama should stay out of the primary to avoid weakening the party.

Gov. Bill Ritter appointed Bennet to take the U.S. Senate seat vacated by Ken Salazar, who left to become interior secretary. Bennet was the superintendent of Denver Public Schools at the time. Romanoff is the former Colorado House Speaker and had been considered a candidate for the seat.
