Soldiers memorialized at Ft. Carson

A memorial service for five Fort Carson soldiers, who were killed during service in Afghanistan, is scheduled for Thursday, 11 a.m., at Fort Carson's Soldiers' Memorial Chapel.

The soldiers memorialized in Thursday's service were part of the 4th Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division

The soldiers being memorialized are:

Staff Sgt. Michael D.P. Cardenaz - 2nd Battalion, 12th Infantry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division

Staff Sgt. John A. Reiners - 1st Battalion, 12th Infantry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division

Sgt. Jeremiah T. Wittman - 1st Battalion, 12th Infantry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division

Spc. Bobby J. Pagan - 1st Battalion, 12th Infantry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division

Pfc. JR Salvacion - 1st Battalion, 12th Infantry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division
