Soldiers expected at Fort Carson today

About 40 Fort Carson Soldiers from the 62nd Explosives Ordnance Disposal Company are expected to return this afternoon.
They spend about a year in Afghanistan conducting more than 850 emergency response combat missions, including 350 involving improvised explosive devices.
Individuals in the company received five Purple Hearts, 17 Bronze Stars and other decorations.
