A lot of us drink coffee in the morning, but have you ever thought about how it's made? Well, two brothers in Pueblo have a unique invention and now they're expanding.
David and Michael Hartkop are the creators of a solar roaster. The mirrors reflect heat from the sun--roasting the coffee beans a lot like an oven. In 2007, they opened Solar Roast Coffee at 226 N. Main St. in Pueblo. Now, they're building their largest solar roaster ever.
Tonight on News First 5 at 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. David Ortiviz goes behind the scenes and explains why these Oregon natives decided to set up shop in Pueblo.
