Snowy road blamed for deadly crash

The driver of a car lost control on a snowpacked highway, spun out of control and into the path of an oncoming semi. The semi slammed into the car, killing the driver. The victim of the accident has been identified as Andy Voss, 52, of Eads.
The accident happened on Highway 287 at 5:30 Wednesday morning, approximately two miles south of Lamar.
The driver of the semi, from Burlington, Texas, was not injured.
