Many roads in and out of eastern New Mexico and northwest Texas are closed right now due to blizzard conditions.
Including I-40 as seen here in Amarillo from a Texas DOT camera.
A 92-mile stretch of I-40 between Moriarty and Tucumcari is closed due to icy conditions, while drifts of 2 1/2 to 5 feet reported on secondary highways in Quay County around Tucumcari.
The National Weather Service says there are snowfall reports of 8-10 inches between Tucumcari on the north and Clovis and Portales on the south.
