We're tracking a strong storm that will bring much needed moisture to Colorado and a big helping of wind and cold air as well. Southwest wind will ramp up saturday afternoon with gusts from 35 to 40 mph. A powerful cold front arrives saturday evening with wind switching to the north and staying gusty. Snow will begin saturday night across El Paso and Teller counties then push south after midnight saturday. Wind and snow will create blowing snow and hazardous travel conditions. In Colorado Springs an inch or two of snow is possible. Northern El Paso county and Teller county could get 2-5". Pueblo and Canon City Tr - 1". The Eastern Plains only a dusting. Walsenburg and Trinidad 3-6" Sangre de Cristo and Wet mountains 5-11" by sunday evening.
