Snow pile problem: Keep sidewalks clear

Snowstorms have passed, but as some parking lots are plowed there is an issue. There is snow pushed into streets or left in piles on sidewalks. "No matter the material you can't block public right of ways," said Colorado Springs Code Enforcement Administrator, Ken Lewis.
Blocking sidewalks is a safety and an access issue. "Especially sidewalks where people with wheelchairs or handicapped people need access to those sidewalks," said Lewis.
