A soggy storm is headed for Colorado, it will bring wet heavy snow to many parts of the state. The San Juan mountains will get hit hard, 10 - 20" of snow and strong wind will make travel over the high passes almost impossible at times. Best window for snow will be early friday morning through early saturday morning. The storm will still have enough energy once it moves over the mountains to produce snow here across the lower elevations of eastern Colorado. Accumulations will be light most areas on friday. Thunderstorms are possible over the far southeast corner of the state. Dry over the weekend with pleasant temperatures.
