Small plane headed to Denver area reported overdue

CENTENNIAL, Colo. (AP) - A single-engine plane with one person aboard has been reported overdue on trip to the Denver area.

The Federal Aviation Administration says the Piper PA-28 plane took off Saturday from Sandia Airpark Estates Airport east of Albuquerque and was headed to Centennial Airport south of Denver. It was reported overdue early Sunday.

Additional information is not immediately available.
