Small plane flips over at Meadowlake Airport

A small plane has flipped on it's top at the Meadowlake Airport. Reports from the scene say the pilot got out okay. Meadowlake Airport is located at Judge Orr Road and Highway 24 in eastern El Paso County.
This was an experimental aircraft made from a kit.
The pilot suffered a cut on his forehead and went to the hospital in a personal vehicle.
The Federal Aviation Administration and National Transportation Safety Board do not investigate plane crashes of this type. There was a small fire, which was quickly extinguished.
