CENTENNIAL, Colo. (AP) - Authorities are investigating after a small plane crashed onto a road east of Centennial Airport in Arapahoe County.
Becky O'Guin, a spokeswoman for the South Metro Fire Department, tells The Denver Post the single engine Beechcraft Bonanza failed to gain altitude after takeoff, crashed through a fence and onto the road at about 6:15 p.m. Saturday. The pilot, the only person on board, walked away from the aircraft but was taken to a hospital for evaluation.
No other injuries were reported.
