Small fire burns in Colorado Springs attic

Colorado Springs fire crews quickly extinguished a fire in an attic in the 300 block of Prospect, near Prospect and Vermijo Monday afternoon.
The occupants were not home at the time and the fire department reported no injuries. One firefighter was treated for heat exhaustion.
The damage is not believed to be serious.
