The Sky Sox and Pikes Peak Habitat for Humanity are partnering to help a low-income family in Colorado Springs.
The players will be wielding hammers and saws this Saturday morning, at a home under construction at the Woodmen Vistas development. That evening, proceeds from the Sky Sox game will be donated to Habitat.
Habitat builds homes for low-income families. The families receive the low cost home with zero-interest, 30 year mortgages. The charity has built more than 100 homes.
Game time for the Sky Sox Saturday evening is 7:05.
