Sky Sox open gates to evacuees

Families and individuals evacuated by the Waldo Canyon Fire are invited to come watch the Colorado Springs Sky Sox as they host the Tacoma Rainiers for two free games Sunday and Monday.
General Manager Tony Ensor and his family are actually among the evacuees. He says a baseball game is a great way to escape the stress of being forced out of your home, if even for just a few hours.
To receive the free tickets, evacuees simply need to stop by the box office and inform the ticket window employee that they have been evacuated or call the front office at (719) 597-1449.
UPDATE: The Sox beat the Rainers 5-1 Sunday. Monday's game begins at 12:35 p.m.
