Eric Hurley tossed seven scoreless innings to help lead the Salt Lake Bees to a 7-1 win over the Colorado Springs Sky Sox on Thursday night. Hurley (5-4) gave up just three hits with eight strikeouts and one walk, as he allowed only two Sky Sox runners to get as far as second base. The Bees jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the second on a RBI single by Luis Jimenez and a run-s= coring double play hit into by Cory Aldridge. Salt Lake led 3-0 going into the seventh, then broke the game open with four runs on a leadoff home run by Efren Navarro, a two-run homer by Doug Deeds and on a throwing error.

Navarro led the Bees with three hits and one run batted in, while Andrew Romine added three hits and two runs scored. Hank Conger had a single and a RBI in his first game back off of the disabled list.
