Sky Sox drop opener of homestand

The Colorado Springs Sky Sox dropped the first leg of their homestand on Monday night losing 11-6 to the Tacoma Rainiers

With the defeat, the Sky Sox slip to 30-33 while the Rainiers improve to 31-30. Steve Pallazolo (1-1, 3.18) was credited with his first win of the season while Edgmer Escalona (1-2, 8.91) took the loss.

Rockies pitcher Huston Street on rehab assignment with the Sox pitched one inning and gave up one hit and no runs.

The two clubs will face off once again Tuesday night with Esmil Rogers (0-1, 7.36) taking the hill against Chris Seddon (6-3, 4.14). First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 PM.
