Sky Sox club Bees 15-5

The Colorado Springs Sky Sox beat up on the Salt Lake Bees scoring 13 runs in three innings to win 15-5 Friday night at Security Service Field.

Designated hitter Andrew Brown went 3-for-5 at the plate, driving in six runs as left fielder Matt McBride went 4-for-5 with 4 ribbies.

The Bees staged a 3-run 9th inning rally on hits by Ryan Langerhans, Luis Jimenez and Ed Lucas.

With the win, Colorado Springs (36-38) takes 3 of 4 games from the Bees (36-39) and move a half game ahead of them in the PCL North standings.

The Sox homestand continues with a four game series with Tacoma beginning Saturday at 6:05 p.m.
