Skier dies at Winter Park

A 28-year old man died while skiing at Mary Jane yesterday. At approximately 5:15 p.m., Winter Park Ski Patrol received a report that a skier failed to meet up with his party as planned.
The man was located after a Ski Patrol search in the trees off Trestle trail. He was unresponsive and Ski Patrol began CPR. He was transported to Denver Health East Grand Community Clinic and Emergency Center at the base of Winter Park Resort. The death is under investigation.
