Single moms get free oil change

A Pueblo church in conjunction with an auto repair shop will sponsor a free oil change for single moms on June 19 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Impact Ministry from Fellowship of the Rockies has agreed to handle logistics for the event, as Mueller Auto donates their time and space. They have also acquired sponsorships from Wal-Mart, Loaf n' Jug, Wendy's, Hub International, King Soopers and Studio 127. A sign-up list is being formed for the day, first come first serve, as there will only be 40 spots available. A single mom must be on the schedule in order to have her oil changed that day.
"We feel that with these hard economic times, moms could use a helping hand," said Roger Mueller, owner of Mueller's Auto, Inc. "Fellowship of the Rockies has a great team willing to come out and organize this project and we feel good helping out where we can."
Mueller's is located at 1509 E 19th St.
