COLORADO SPRINGS - Sigourney Weaver is coming to Colorado Springs next year. The Golden Globe winner and star of the Sci-Fi thriller Alien is scheduled to be a featured speaker at the 29th Annual National Space Symposium on April 11 at the Broadmoor Hotel.

While generally considered a networking platform for power players in the space and technology crowd, the symposium has also welcomed its share of celebrity guest speakers. Star Trek's Leonard Nemoy, Bill Nye the Science Guy and political satirist P.J. O'Rourke have all made appearances here in previous years.

The Colorado Springs based Space Foundation is currently accepting secure online reservations for the April 8-11 event. Discounted rates are available for early registration and for active duty military and government attendees.
