A Severe Thunderstorm Watch is in effect until 10pm MT Monday for parts of eastern Colorado (east of El Paso and Pueblo counties).
Showers and thunderstorms will be possible through the evening. The main threat from any of the larger thunderstorms will be damaging winds and large hail. A few isolated showers and thunderstorms will also be possible through the overnight hours for southern Colorado.
We should see a fair amount of cloud cover Tuesday across the area. A few showers and thunderstorms will again be possible. Between the clouds and the chances for rain, temperatures should be held down a little.
*Fire Weather Watch is in effect Wednesday morning through Wednesday evening for parts of southern Colorado.* Heat returns to southern Colorado starting Wednesday.
