Shot fired at Colorado Springs pharmacy

COLORADO SPRINGS - Police said they arrested a man after a shooting at a pharmacy. Officers were called to The Medicine Shoppe on Union Boulevard around 2:30 Thursday afternoon. According to police, the gunman went into the pharmacy and fired a shot into the ceiling.  The shop followed their evacuation plan and employees left the building, leaving the suspect alone inside.  Police arrived and arrested the man.  At this point, police don't know if he wanted money or drugs.

A portion of N. Union Blvd. was temporarially closed.  It has since been reopened.
