Shocking phone call: "Your house is on fire"

Vicki and John Bonato had taken the day off from work to relax and get a massage when they received the phone call saying their home was engulfed in flames. "It feels surreal, it hasn't hit me yet. I'm sure it will hit me, I'm sure our lives are going to change drastically in the next...however long it takes to get this fixed up or decide what we're going to do," Vicki Bonito said.

The call came in just before noon at for an active structure fire at 1429 Delaware Drive near Palmer Park and Academy. A neighbor called it in when they heard an explosion. When fire fighters arrived on scene, smoke and flames were visible; they forced entry and contained the fire, protecting the power lines above the house.

Luckily nobody was hurt, but its another blow to the Bonatos; their home was burglarized twice recently, and earlier this year a car crash through the back yard, destroying part of their home.
