The El Paso County Sheriff's Office is warning people to be cautious about what they leave in their RV while it's being stored in a lot.
Over the past week, three RV storage lots in the Cimarron Hills neighborhood have been broken into and vehicles in the lots have been entered. There have been some items reported missing in these cases. The suspect in these cases is cutting the fence to gain entry to the storage lots.
The first incident was reported on July 8th, and the most recent one was reported yesterday. Lt. Jeff Kramer with the Sheriff's office says that it is possible the break-ins happened a day or two before they were discovered.
Investigators don't have a suspect description at this time. If you have any information, no matter how insignificant you think it may be, the Sheriff's Office wants to hear from you at 390-5555.
