Attorneys say a court hearing scheduled Wednesday for Charlie Sheen and his wife, Brooke, has been postponed until Friday.
Authorities arrested Sheen Christmas Day on suspicion of felony menacing, second-degree assault and criminal mischief. Brooke Sheen's attorney says the hearing was postponed because of "scheduling issues" but wouldn't elaborate.
Sheen and his attorney had been expected to ask the judge to throw out or revise a protection order that prevents Sheen and his wife from contacting each other.
Prosecutors oppose Sheen's request. Brooke Sheen told police he put a knife to her throat and threatened to kill her. Sheen denies it. Attorneys for the couple say they want to try to reconcile.
