Shaq Tweets his retirement

BOSTON (AP) - Shaquille O'Neal says on Twitter that he's about to end his 19-year NBA career. The Tweet he sent out today also had a link to a 16-second video. On it, O'Neal indicated he's about to retire and wanted his Twitter community to know it first.
The 12-time All-Star played for Orlando, the Lakers, Miami, Phoenix, Cleveland and the Celtics.
He scored over 28,000 points and won four NBA titles.
Celtics spokesman Jeff Twiss says that O'Neal has not notified the team of his plans. Apparently Shaq will make a formal announcement at his home on Friday.
