Sex assault suspect arrested

Colorado Springs Police say they have their man in a child sex assault case from back in October.
The 12 year old was walking to her school bus stop on east Brookside on October 25th when she was attacked.
Police say a prison escapee from Louisiana, Leonard Palmer, was arrested that same night on the escape charge.
He was a person of interest in the assault case and today police got a positive match on his DNA.
He is now facing additional charges of kidnapping and sex assault on a child.
