Service for Dr. Eastburn scheduled for Friday

Services to celebrate the life of Dr. Ted Eastburn will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at Shove Chapel at Colorado College.
Eastburn was a highly respected and well-connected member of the Colorado Springs community. His body was discovered at 7:45 Tuesday morning in his office at Memorial Hospital. Eastburn was a former city councilman, cardiologist, faculty member at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, and cyclist.
Memorial gifts and donations should be made to Peak Vista, a foundation that provides health care services to the underinsured and uninsured.
