A Democrat who has acknowledged doctoring a photo on his campaign Web site to add black and Latino faces nearer the candidate is keeping the picture.
Senate candidate Andrew Romanoff's campaign has acknowledged changing a photo on his Web site that adds a black woman and two Latino faces to the front.
Romanoff's campaign manager says the photo doctoring was done to improve the illustration, not to deceive viewers about minority support for Romanoff, who is white.
Some Latinos who have previously backed Romanoff's Democratic opponent, Sen. Michael Bennet, have called for Romanoff to take the illustration down. Romanoff's camp points out that the people were at the rally pictured. At least one said she didn't mind having her image altered.
The photo issue was pointed out Thursday in a Denver Post blog.
