Select baseball team gives new meaning to "America's Pastime"

The Colorado Springs Thunder baseball team can crush home runs. They can turn the double play.
In fact, not a day goes by where one of these ten-year olds doesn't play some baseball.
"If we could, we would practice Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday," said first baseman Justin Olson.
They're like an All-Star team, with twelve of the top players around, and there's no joking about their priorities.
"I'd [rank them] baseball, family, school," said shortstop Riley Cornelio.
"Baseball one, family two, school three," said Olson.
But it's not all baseball. The coach teaches these kids about life and goals at practice.
"I want you to write [your goals] down and then we will talk about them," said head Coach John Cornelio.
And in a few years, you might see some of these guys play top level high school baseball, or even go further.
"To the pros and hopefully make it into Cooperstown," said Riley Cornelio.
The Colorado Springs Thunder are part of the Pikes Peak Competitive Baseball Association. They recently took second place at a national level tournament in Omaha, Nebraska.
