Searchers comb Eleven Mile Reservoir

Search and rescue crews are working the shore and the water of Eleven Mile Reservoir today, trying to find former Colorado Springs mayoral candidate Mitch Christiansen.

Christiansen's wife Susan, 62, was found dead in the water near a capsized boat Sunday morning.  Family members say Mitch Christiansen would have been with his wife at the time.

According to Colorado State Parks spokesperson Deb Frazier, the body and boat were found on the east end of the reservoir near a backcountry camping site.  Frazier says parks crews are walking the shore with search dogs today and are partnering with Littleton Flat Water Search and Rescue to comb the water in a grid pattern.  Searchers' boats are equipped with sonar.

It's still unclear what kind of boat was found.
