Beaches in Chatham, Massachusetts could reopen today after several shark sightings last week. Sharks first landed on the beach patrol's radar screen Thursday, when state Division of Marine Services biologists identified five large sharks, possibly great whites in the area.

On saturday officials raised the red no-swimming flags. They remained up over the labor Day weekend.

Biologist have tagged two of the great whites, they are looking for two others.

Officials say the sharks are likely in the area to feed on seals that are also swimming off the Massachusetts coast.
