Sometimes a smile says it all. There were plenty of smiling faces this afternoon at St. Therese Catholic School in Pueblo. Students hosted a Christmas party for dozens of children from low income families.
The students organized educational carnival games and even had pictures with Santa. By the looks on their faces, the event meant a lot for both the party goers and student organizers. "You know I just hope that they find that their Christmas was as filled with fun as anybody else's possibly could be and I hope they take away skills that will help them in the years to come," said Bella Chacon, Student Body President at St. Therese.
This is the third year St. Therese has hosted this annual Christmas party for families in need. Catholic Charities referred the families for that free event.
