The threat of a lawsuit is forcing a school in Colorado to cut ties with its Christmas gift drive.
The charity is run by an evangelical christian organization called Samaritan's Purse. In past years, students at SkyView Academy in Douglas County collected toys for poor children worldwide. The project is called Operation Christmas Child.
After being threatened with a lawsuit from the American Humanist Association, school leaders abandoned the program. Parents upset with the decision are planning a rally outside the campus Wednesday.
