School District 11 seeking volunteers

Colorado Springs School District 11 has a GrandFriends program that places retiree and senior citizen volunteers in District 11 schools. These GrandFrieds give one-on-one attention to sudents who need extra help.
An orientation and training program is being offered Thursday. You don't need prior teaching experience, only a love of children.
