It was a disappointing turn-out tonight for the first of two informational meetings on boundary changes in School District 11.

There were so few people; officials had time to answer the public's questions one-on-one. The school board is getting feedback on how to re-draw the boundaries after they decided
to close Wasson High School and two elementary schools for budget reasons.

The board could vote not to change the proposed boundaries, but if they do it will most impact eighth grade students transitioning into high school next fall.

Another informational meeting is scheduled for Thursday at 6:45pm at the Tesla Educational Center.

A final decision on the boundaries will determined at the next regular school board meeting on Wednesday, February 27th.
