Scary moments for "EntertainMart" shoppers

Some scary moments for shoppers on Wednesday night in Colorado Springs. Police say they rushed to the EntertainMart on North Academy, after receiving calls of a gunman firing shots in the air.

Once police were on scene, witnesses say three shoppers noticed a man watching them and asked what he was looking at.

They told police, the man responded to the shoppers, got out of the SUV, and ran at all three victims. The suspect pointed a black handgun at the victims briefly before he stepped back and fired one round in the air.

The suspect ran back to a white SUV while the three victims got in their car and left that area of the parking lot.

The suspect was described as a white male, 20 to 30 years of age, a shaved head, approximately 5'10 to 6' tall last seen wearing a whitish hoodie. The suspect vehicle is described as a smaller white Toyota SUV bearing Co plate 930ZBL.

If anyone has any information regarding this incident they are encouraged to contact the Colorado Springs Police Department at 444-7000.
