Savage Kitchen - Sweet Chili Shrimp

Sweet Chili Shrimp

Serves 4

24 16-20 Shrimp
2c Sweet Chili Sauce
1tbs Chopped Fresh Cilantro
2oz Mirin (sweet rice wine)
4oz Vegetable Oil

In a medium size bowl place chili, cilantro and mirin and mix well. Add shrimp and let marinate for two hours. Remove shrimp from marinade and set aside, place marinade in a sauce pan and reduce by half on medium heat. In a large sauté pan heat the oil over medium heat being careful not to burn the oil. Once the oil is hot carefully put in shrimp and cook about 2- 3 minutes per side.

You could also grill the shrimp with the same cooking time.
