San Miguel Fire now 40 percent contained

Crews fighting a wildfire in southwestern Colorado are dealing with forecasts for drier, warmer weather and higher winds.
The fire burning on nearly 4 square miles, or 2,525 acres, was about 40 percent contained Wednesday morning. Earlier estimates said the fire was larger, but fire officials revised that based on better information.
Fire managers say a downed power line sparked the fire Saturday.
High winds drove the flames in San Miguel Canyon over the weekend before cold temperatures and moisture helped calm the fire. However the National Weather Service issued a fire-weather watch for western Colorado until Wednesday night, with dry, warm weather and high wind predicted.
About 280 people were helping to fight the fire.
