There have been three different recalls of products made in China:

Specialized Bicycle components is recalling their Globe model of bicycles. They say the hazard lies with the front fork can break, causing riders to fall and get hurt. This applies to several of the 2008 and 2009 models of the women's and men's bicycles. A free replacement fork is available. Call Specialized at (877) 808-8154, or visit www.specialized.com and click on Support/Safety Notices.

Also, Big Lots is recalling their Wilson & Fisher Garden Swings. Assembly instructions have item number JY1107 and SKU number 210020400 printed on the sheet. The wooden swing's seat can break while you're in it, causing injury. If you own this swing, return it to any Big Lots store for a full refund. You can find out more by calling (866) 244-568 or logging onto www.biglots.com and click on recalls.

Finally, parents should be on the look out for the Captain Cutlass Toy Pirate Pistols. These toy guns were covered with paint that could contain hazardous lead. If you have one of these items, contact Dillon Importing at (800) 654-3696 or www.dillonimporting.com to work out a refund.
