SANTA ROSA, Calif. (AP) - Authorities are blaming heavy rain and powerful wind for the death of a camper at a wildlife preserve near Santa Rosa. Fire officials say the victim was killed when a tree fell onto a tent last night as heavy winds and rain toppled trees throughout the county.
Meanwhile, officials are on alert for mudslides as Southern California endures another winter storm.
