An early-morning burger run to Burger King turned into a humiliating experience for a Sacramento, California man.
After spending $9.22 on a Double Whopper with cheese, onion rings and a small drink at the restaurant, Francisco Perez looked at his receipt.
In big bold letters at the top of the receipt it has the four-letter profanity spelled out: "f--- you" not once but twice.
"Actually, I'm embarrassed," Perez said. "It's humiliating."
"That's not acceptable," said Blong Xiong, the shift manager at the Burger King.
He said he will talk to the store employees whose names were on the receipt and will follow up with the store manager.
A representative from Burger King's corporate office also said the company would be investigating the incident.
