FREMONT, Ohio (AP) - Authorities say one worker has died in a roof collapse at a sauerkraut factory in northern Ohio.

Fremont Police Chief Tim Wiersma says three others were injured in Wednesday's accident at the Fremont Co. Wiersma says two were taken to hospitals. One person remains trapped in the building.

The identity of the victim was not immediately released. The mayor says workers from B&W Welding in Fremont were working on the roof when it collapsed. A woman at the company said the owner was not available for comment.

The Fremont Co. is about 40 miles southeast of Toledo. It makes sauerkraut and bottles ketchup and barbecue sauce.
