Romney's bus making rounds in southern Colorado

Governor Mitt Romney's campaign bus is covering both Pueblo and Colorado Springs on Thursday, countering campaign stops by President Barack Obama.

However, it's not Romney on board, but fellow Republicans who are touting Romney's policies. Supporters can stop by one of the buses during the President's 10:45 a.m. speech at the Colorado State Fair in Pueblo and meet with Ohio Senator Rob Portman. That bus will be parked at the West Entrance to the Palace of Agriculture, off Prairie Avenue.

Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal and Rep. Jason Chaffetz of Utah will be on another bus making scheduled stops in Colorado Springs; Book Automotive in Fountain at 13:30 p.m. Then Acacia Park in Downtown Colorado Springs at 2:30 p.m., and wrapping up at the El Paso County GOP Headquarters off Sutton Lane in Colorado Springs from 4:15 p.m.

The events are free and no tickets are required.
