Democratic Senate challenger Andrew Romanoff continues his 100-city campaign tour today with stops in Pueblo and Colorado Springs.
Romanoff says he wants to focus on his campaign to unseat incumbent Democratic Sen. Michael Bennet. But Romanoff has been dogged by questions about an alleged attempt by the White House last year to lure Romanoff away from the Senate race by helping him into another job with the administration.
Romanoff has avoided criticizing President Barack Obama, who has backed Bennet. Obama says he was unaware a top aide encouraged Romanoff to apply for an international development job instead of challenging Bennet.
Romanoff confirmed the talks this week but said he'd already made up his mind to run for Senate.
