The roller coaster ride of weather will continue for southern Colorado.
We had a beautiful mid-November day today. High temperatures topped out in the 60°s and 70°s. Officially Pueblo hit 72° and Colorado Springs 68°.
Clouds moving in to the area will keep skies partly to mostly cloudy which will help keep temperatures up, especially compared to Wednesday morning. Lows will be in the 30°s.
A cold front will move through the area dropping temperatures for Thursday. Under partly cloudy skies temperatures will top out in the 50°s. Look for a high temperature of 54° in Colorado Springs and 58° in Pueblo.
Temperatures will start to climb back up starting Friday. Computer models are suggesting temperatures will continue to climb through Saturday. Data suggests a cold front will move through the area Sunday afternoon/early evening. Temperatures are forecast to reach the 40°s and 50°s before the front passes, then temperatures are expected to fall behind the front. Behind the front there is a chance of a little bit of precipitation developing late Sunday evening through pre-dawn Monday. This could bring a mix of rain and/or snow to parts of the area. We will continue to fine tune the forecast as we get closer to see how the precipitation will work out. Stay tuned! - Meteorologist John Dissauer
