DENVER (AP) - Colorado Rockies closer Huston Street has biceps tendonitis in his pitching arm and is being shut down for an undetermined amount of time.

Street said he first felt discomfort Tuesday night when he threw a six-pitch ninth inning against the New York Mets in his first action in a week.

He said he reported significantly more pain and swelling Wednesday night, when left-hander Franklin Morales recorded his first major league save in Colorado's 5-2 win over the Mets.

Street, who has 33 saves in 34 chances, said he expects to be out a few days but no longer than a week.
